EveryMan Australia’s behaviour change programs provide a life-changing space for men ready to take responsibility and make meaningful change.

The latest participant feedback from the Preventing Violence Changing Behaviour (PVCB) Program revealed its impact. The program teaches practical tools for managing anger and behaviour and fosters honesty, accountability, and respect.

From understanding personal triggers to building boundaries and learning about the brain’s response to anger, men overwhelmingly described each core activity as extremely useful in understanding the origins of anger and violence.

EveryMan’s programs aren't just about information but about engagement and the human relationships that drive change.

Participants described Sandra and Simon, the program's facilitators, as motivating, well-educated, and adept at holding participants accountable.

One participant expressed that the tools they had learnt helped change their life.

“Sandra is great at communicating and engaging in conversation. Simon keeps everyone on track and makes you think about the bigger picture.”

EveryMan designs violence prevention programs to foster lasting change by helping men understand the impact of their actions and equipping them with the tools to build healthier relationships. Through cognitive-behavioural techniques and supportive group environments, participants are encouraged to take responsibility and make meaningful strides toward non-violence.

The strength lies in the content and the culture of trust built over time. Participants have reported feeling supported and safe enough to share, with several men urging others to give it a real go.

“You are brave for being here. It goes quicker than you think, and it’s worth every session,” one man said.

Another added, "I genuinely like who I am now, so much more than I did 12 weeks ago. This course has taught me so much. If you're ready to make a real, positive change in your life, take in everything this program offers. It works."

Ongoing feedback reinforces the importance of offering programs that challenge behaviours and support men in growing, reflecting, and reconnecting with their values.

“Please make the effort to attend every session. It will change your life.”
