Welcome to EveryMan Australia

As a not-for-profit organisation, our purpose is to bring effective and professional services to men at risk of exclusion, discrimination and marginalisation, no matter who they are, or what they've done.

We specialise in working with men living with very high and very complex support needs, and with their partners and families - needs associated with childhood experience of sexual, domestic and family violence, long-term mental health conditions, brain injury, intellectual disability, drug and alcohol dependency, involvement in the criminal justice system and other complex issues.

This is where you come in....

About the role

You'll work with the team to provide specialist case management and support to men in our program, using methods we have been developing for over 20 years to help them manage their tenancies and bring greater stability and sustainability to their daily lives.

You'll be on the front line, working with our guys in their homes and in their communities, helping them with the issues they're dealing with and what they want to accomplish, helping them grow the skills and shape the behaviours they need for the challenges they encounter.

You'll work with the team to manage risks to the men and to people in their lives to increase safety for everyone.

You'll help us bring EveryMan's tenacity and commitment to a cohort who've experienced support failures since childhood. You'll be in their corner helping them reconnect with other agencies who have disengaged from them when their behaviour was difficult.

What's needed

Tertiary qualifications, case management and direct support experience which make a strong foundation for working effectively with people living with high and complex support needs. This is not an entry position - our guys don't need beginners.

If you want your life to be about being a contribution, and you want the personal and professional growth that will help you deliver on what you're committed to, apply here.

What happens after you apply?

There's an information evening from 5.30 pm to 7.00 pm on Tuesday 12 March, for selected candidates to find out more about EveryMan and meet with some of our people in a relaxed atmosphere to help with the next stage of the recruitment process. If you can't attend, let us know and we'll look at alternative arrangements.

We strongly encourage expressions of interest from First Nations people, from people from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and from people living with disabilities.
